2026 Robin’s Nest Mission Trip

2026 Robin’s Nest Mission Trip

The Service and Mission Committee is excited to announce a mission trip to Robin’s Nest Children’s Home in 2026.

The Robin’s Nest story begins with an obedient servant’s heart and a love for children. In 1997, founder Michelle Robinette, went on a mission trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica.  Little did she know the trip would change her life forever.  She spent time visiting children at a local orphanage and the following year she felt led to not only care for hurting children, but to start a new place kids could call “home.”  A home that provides a safe, loving, and Christ-centered environment where each child could grow physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.  To care for the orphans, the hurting, the helpless.   Give them hope and show them unconditional love . . . because He first loved us.  If you would like to learn more about Robin’s Nest, please visit the Robin’s Nest website.

Join a group from Peace for a mission trip to Robin’s Nest!  We will work with the children and, depending upon what skills our group brings, they may also tailor some projects for us to complete. The trip is for adults 18+ and will can have up to 16 people (8 women and 8 men).  Please return a registration form for each participant and a $250 non-refundable trip deposit to the Church Office. The deposit will be applied towards the total trip cost. Checks can be made out to Peace Lutheran Church with 2026 Robin’s Nest Trip in the memo line. Registrations are due by Sunday, August 3, 2025. The registration form can be found here.
