Our new year is getting off to a rousing start with CAMP SUNDAY this week! Join us as we gather round the campfire for songs, stories, and a visit from one of the staff members of Camp Wapogasset, Hazel Banisky. We’ll also bestow a blessing on our crew that’s going to Robin’s Nest Children’s Home in Jamaica, sending them off with our prayers of support. And on top of all that, we’ll hear a live update from our Transition Team. What a morning!
After worship we’ll gather for our first Adult Education Hour of the new year with Pastor Ryan Fletcher, Director of Evangelical Mission for the Mpls Area Synod. His presentation is entitled “Called to Proclaim the Good News” where he’ll invite us to think deeply about what it means to reach out to our neighbors in word and action.
Finally, please keep the family of Renee Nicole Good in your prayers in the aftermath of her tragic shooting in South Minneapolis last Wednesday. And please keep our entire community in your prayers as we struggle to navigate our way through these tense and turbulent times.
