Dear Peace Parents and Families,
Thank you to everyone who made Gathering Sunday and our Fall Kickoff Festival so fun! It warmed my heart to see all the smiling faces, hear all the laughs and good conversations, and feel all of the positive and Spirit-filled energy.
As we look ahead and move forward into the fall, there will be plenty more opportunities to grow in faith and community—for all ages. On Sundays we have worship, fellowship time, adult education, Sunday School, and Sunday School teaching (and you’ll get home in time to watch the Vikings game!). Many congregation members even choose to serve as Service Assistants (Greeters, Ushers, etc.), and some Sundays also include events for 20-30 Somethings and/or high school students.
On Wednesdays there is Morning Bible Study, Adult Evening Bible Study, Alleluia Singers, Confirmation, and Peace Choir rehearsals.
And throughout the week, there are fellowship events, committee meetings, and service opportunities. In all of these things, We hope you’ll feel empowered to live out your faith through your many different vocations, spread the goodness of God’s love through word and deed, and share the invitation to join in all that God is doing through the people and ministries of this congregation.
We look forward to sharing in all these ministries and experiences together with you as we embrace our mission of growing a community that nurtures a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
