Dear Peace Community,
Last Sunday morning, Pastor Mark led his final worship service at Peace Lutheran. He and Marcie will now begin the next chapter of their lives together after nineteen years of faithful service in this congregation. Even in the midst of this change in leadership, the ministry of Peace Lutheran remains the same: each Sunday morning we will continue to gather to pray, to sing, and to share the meal of Holy Communion, and we will continue to share the love of God daily through living lives of faith, hope, and love.
I am grateful that I have been called to work together with you in the coming days. We’ll spend time looking back at the congregation’s rich history, while also looking ahead at the vibrant future that God has in store for us. Please join us this Sunday morning for worship as Peace Lutheran begins a new chapter of ministry!
