Greetings from Peace Lutheran Church!
What fun last Sunday! We celebrated the Third Sunday in Advent at worship, followed by a beautiful Christmas Program put on by the children of Peace, complete with Joseph, Mary, shepherds, angels, camels, sheep, pigs (yes, it’s possible that there were pigs in the stable), and a beautiful Christmas Star. Hats off to Marcia Craig and her stage crew for putting together this fine production!
This Sunday we’ll light all four candles on the Advent Wreath during the Children’s Message in honor of the Fourth Sunday in Advent. And then, with the close of the Advent Season, we’ll finally celebrate the birth of our Lord at our festive services on December 24th and 25th. On Christmas Eve we’ll gather for worship at 4:00pm and 5:30 pm, and then on Christmas Day we’ll gather at 9:30am for a Service of Holy Communion. Please join us with your family and friends for these wonderful celebrations!
