Dear Peace Lutheran Friends and Family,
Greetings and welcome to one of my most favorite days of the year: National Donut Day! I’m not sure how you’re celebrating today, but whatever you’re doing, I hope you’re having a grand time!
This Sunday at worship we’ll be hearing stories about the power of God’s presence in our lives as Jesus leads us into the mysterious unknown territory that each day brings. Who knows who we’ll encounter today? Who knows where we will land? Who knows how we will be called on to share a smile, a hug, or a kind word? The answer, of course, is that GOD knows how we’ll be called to follow in Christ’s footsteps. So here we go!
And speaking of “going” somewhere, this Sunday a number of Peace people will be heading over to San Pablo Lutheran Church in Minneapolis for either a morning worship service or an afternoon street party.
