Dear Peace Lutheran Church Friends and Family,
What a great morning last Sunday! We listened to a beautiful anthem sung by our Sunday School Singers… we celebrated our 5th Graders as they wrapped up their time in Sunday School before they move up to the Confirmation Program… we thanked our Sunday School and Confirmation Leaders for their work over the past year… we listened to our Peace Choir sing before they take a much deserved summer break… and we celebrated our Worship Accompanist and Choir Director, Bruce Hudson, on the 10th Anniversary of his ministry at Peace. What a day!
This Sunday is the celebration of Pentecost, when we remember the power of the Holy Spirit that moves among God’s church. During worship we’ll share in Holy Communion, hear a delightful Children’s Message, and combine our hearts and minds as we pray, sing, and worship together.
Looking ahead… On Sunday, May 31, we’ll have our annual “High School Senior Recognition Sunday” during worship, followed by “Sundae Sunday”. (Can you guess what kind of special treats we’ll be having during Fellowship Hour?) And on the following Sunday, June 7, you’re invited to join the caravan that is heading to San Pablo Lutheran Church in Minneapolis for their annual street festival – details are below!
Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday!
