Greetings from Peace Lutheran Church!
Were you able to see the Northern Lights on display this past week? I’m sorry to say that I was never in a place to actually see them myself, but the pictures that I saw were gorgeous – one more sign of the power and beauty of God’s stunning creation!
Last Sunday we held our annual Harvest Pack in the Fellowship Hall. After worship we gathered together and packed 15,000 meals in just over an hour – many thanks to those who supported this effort! As we look forward to this Sunday, we’ll be hearing a story from scripture about how all things begin and end in our God. We’ll also be praying, singing, sharing in the Lord’s Supper, and listening to our Sunday School kids sing a song of joy accompanied by a couple mystery guests.
Finally, this Sunday morning our last Listening Session will be held right after worship. Please add your voice to those who are helping shape the future of ministry at Peace Lutheran Church. And our Adult Education Presentation this Sunday will be led by our very own Lori Thomson and Daina Sivanich who will share about all the ways you can keep up to date with all the many program opportunities offered at Peace.
