High school students (9-12 grade) are invited to continue living out their faith through many faith-filled opportunities at Peace—primarily through fellowship, service, and education. Whether it’s at High School Hangout, a summer service trip, or on Sunday mornings, there is always a place for your student to belong and to be supported.

High School MEA Retreat
Parents of High School Youth, we have a great opportunity this fall for your youth at an MEA Getaway in Zumbro Falls, MN. MEA Getaway takes place over MEA Weekend and gives students from across the Twin Cities the opportunity to break routines and spend some quality time with some quality people. The days are packed with wild fun, awesome games, a giant swing, and great food. Each night adults and students gather for singing, skits, and a message from a featured speaker. Here are the details:
- Location: Held at Camp Victory in Zumbro Falls, MN, about 1 1/2 hours south of Bloomington
- Date: Thursday, October 17 – Sunday, October 20, 2024
- Transportation: St. Stephen Lutheran Church is planning to rent a bus and has invited us to join them
- Departure: 6:00pm from St. Stephen on Thursday, October 17
- Return: Return around 12:30pm on Sunday, October 20
- Grades: 9th-12th
- Cost: $250
- Payment: Payment can be made online or by check (make your check out to Peace Lutheran Church and write [Student Name] MEA Getaway on the memo line.
- Can I Bring a Friend? Absolutely! Please share this email with the friend’s parents so that they can complete the registration form and make the payment
- When does registration close? Wednesday, October 9.
High School Hangout
Peace hosts monthly special events for our students. There will be a mix of service projects, fun events, and fellowship time in our local community. Each will be an opportunity to get to know God and each other better. Come join us for some fellowship and fun!
