Dear Peace Lutheran Friends and Family,
This Sunday we will be celebrating the end of our Sunday School year. The children will be singing, the teachers will be recognized, and all the generations of the church will give thanks to God for bringing us all together. Hats off to all of our children and youth leaders, especially Marcia Craig, our Children’s Ministry Director. And as always, at worship we’ll sing, we’ll pray, and we’ll share in the meal of Holy Communion. We’ll also hear a scripture reading in which Jesus shares some final words of wisdom with his disciples before he leaves them to carry on with the ministry that he began.
We’ll also hear a brief report from Andy Loeffler and Michelle Stockinger, two of our Peace members who represented our congregation at the Minneapolis Area Synod Assembly on May 1 & 2 at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Ramsey. Andy and Michelle attended the assembly with 350 other representatives from the other 137 congregations that make up our synod.
And don’t forget to keep bringing items for VEAP – they count on us to keep their shelves full of supplies! Thank you!
