E-Note May 29, 2026

Dear Peace Lutheran Church Friends and Family,

I do believe summer has “officially” arrived–Memorial Day celebrations are now behind us, people are packing up their vehicles for traveling, and the warmer temperatures have arrived!

This Sunday we’ll be celebrating Trinity Sunday, when we remember that God comes to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. In the gospel reading, Jesus will remind us that he will be “with us always, to the end of the age.” It’s true – Jesus WILL be with us Sunday when we read God’s Holy Word, share God’s Holy Supper, and worship in prayer and song.

We’ll also be blessing our High School Seniors on Sunday as they are about to graduate: Jonah Gehant, Jonathan McLoughlin, Elsa Oman, and Avery Rich. And then after worship, to top it all off, we’ll be having our annual “Sundae Sunday” celebration in the Parish Hall with incredible ice cream, tremendous toppings, and festive fun!

Please join us this Sunday morning when we celebrate the Holy Trinity, bless our Holy Graduates, and gather for Holy Worship.

—Pastor Jeff Engholm

PS: And please remember that NEXT Sunday, June 7, you’re invited to join the caravan that is heading to San Pablo Lutheran Church in Minneapolis for their annual street festival.
