Sunday 5/5 from 2-4:30pm. Sound of Music at the Artistry Theater. One of the most beloved musicals of all time! Featuring a treasure trove of cherished Rodgers & Hammerstein songs, including Climb Every Mountain, My Favorite Things, Do-Re-Mi, Sixteen Going on Seventeen and the title number, THE SOUND OF MUSIC has enchanted audiences of all ages for more than 60 years. Experience this Tony Award-winning musical for the first time or all over again at the Schneider Theater! Tickets are $55 for adults up to 62 and $51 for 62+. Let’s Go Fishing is an organization that would change lives by letting seniors and others experience the joy, and freedom of being out on the water to fish or just enjoy the beauty of Minnesota’s lakes. All at NO COST.

Sunday 9/15. Lunch at Patrick’s Bakery and attend the Dahlia Society Show at Bachman’s on Lyndale. We will go to lunch at Patrick’s (inside Bachman’s) and afterward we will enjoy the show. The dahlia show is being hosted by the Minnesota Dahlia Society. We will leave Peace at 12:15pm for a 1pm lunch and return to Peace by 3:30pm. Date and time TBD. White Christmas at the Chanhassen. Veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have a successful song-and-dance act after World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil’s former army commander. With a dazzling score featuring well-known standards including “Blue Skies,” “I Love A Piano,” “How Deep Is the Ocean” and the perennial title song, White Christmas is an uplifting, wholesome musical that will delight audiences of all ages.
