Dear Peace Parents and Families,
Over the last two weeks, students in Confirmation and Sunday School have been working on a service project—making care packages to send to Peace’s college students around the country.
I’ve been so impressed with the time and intentionality all of the students put into making their cards and the kind and encouraging notes they wrote inside. And I know that our college students will really appreciate receiving the packages too—especially as they prepare for their upcoming midterm exams, projects, and papers.
In addition to the notes of encouragement, the college students will also receive a coffee giftcard and some goodies to help fuel them during this very busy time in the semester. We hope it will be a supportive reminder of God’s love, and that we are cheering them on!
Thank you to all of our Sunday School and Confirmation students, and to all of our amazing adult leaders who also helped out, for their kindness and generosity!
Lastly, this Saturday is Trunk or Treat! It looks like this year’s event will likely be colder than recent years, but the event will go on regardless of weather. Thank you in advance for sharing in hospitality with our local community and for joining in on all the fun!
