Dear Peace Parents and Families,
There are a lot of exciting things happening at Peace in the coming weeks, and we want you to be a part of them!
Here’s a brief taste of what’s to come:
- On September 6, the Peace Choir begins fall rehearsals, teachers will meet for Sunday School teacher training, and middle school students and parents will have their Confirmation Orientation.
- On September 10, we invite you to our Gathering Sunday worship, followed by our Fall Kickoff Festival.
- On September 13, Confirmation begins, and we will have an informational meeting about the 2024 ELCA National Youth Gathering.
- On September 17, Sunday School students will have their first day of classroom time, and high school students will have a Sunday Study Break at Starbucks.
- On September 20, the Alleluia Singers will rehearse for the first time.
And to make these wonderful ministries possible, we need your help!
Each one needs dedicated leaders who care about our young people and their faith formation. Because when you serve in our Children, Youth, and Family ministries, you are making a big difference in each of our students’ lives and are helping to share the love of God with them—in addition to it being a great opportunity to connect with other Peace members and families. Everyday you are taking part in our mission to be growing a community that nurtures a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ!
