CYF Blast & Family Tip Of The Week May 11, 2023

Dear Peace Families,

This weekend marks the last day of Sunday School for the 2022-2023 school year. We have had a wonderful year growing in faith and community. In the fall we read and learned about stories from the Old Testament, starting with Creation and Abraham and moving through the Exodus narrative. Beginning in Advent, we started reading through the Gospels and learning about Jesus. On Sunday we conclude our spring adventure through the New Testament with a lesson on Paul’s Letters.

This year of Sunday School would not have been possible without the leadership of so many faith-filled individuals who have given selflessly of their time and energy—all for the sake of growing a community that nurtures a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ

We will thank these fantastic leaders during the Community News in Sunday’s service, but I also want to recognize them here. Please join me in showing our great gratitude for them and for all they have done to strengthen both our congregation and the faith of our young people!

Grace and Peace,

Joe

Family Tip of the Week

It’s important to mark milestones and celebrate significant events when they happen. As we close out this season of ministry before summer begins, celebrate your students in a meaningful way—they have grown a lot as individuals and in their faith this year!
