November 10, 2022
Dear Peace Families,
November. When colorful fall has officially become brown and gray fall. When the warm, sunny days have been blown out by the cold winds of the oncoming winter, and the rain chills you to your bones. I won’t speak for everyone, but for me, it can be hard to feel grateful when it feels so dreadful outside.
But I’ve found that something that gets me out of the late fall funk is thinking about others and doing acts of kindness for others. It’s hard not to smile when making others smile too. And so it’s in that spirit that we invite you to take part in Harvest Pack this Sunday, November 13, after worship.
The congregation will come together (over 100 of us!) to pack over 10,000 meals for nearby neighbors. It’s a great act of service that will make a big difference in the lives of many. And I hope it’s something that makes a difference in your life too. Because when we share God’s love, we realize how much God loves us too.
Grace and Peace,
Joe
Family Tip Of The Week
Give something this weekend. Give your time to a good cause. Give money to an organization that makes a difference. Give your talents in service to others. And when you give, may it fill you with gratitude.
