Dear Families and Friends of Peace,
Over the last two weeks, students in Confirmation and Sunday School have been working on a service project—making care cards to send to Peace’s college students around the country.
It was very impressive how intentional the students were while making their cards, and the kind and encouraging notes they wrote inside are super uplifting. Having spoken with our college students over the last several years, I know that they will really appreciate receiving the packages too—especially as they prepare for their upcoming midterm exams, projects, and papers.
In addition to the handwritten notes of encouragement, our college students will also receive a coffee gift card and some other goodies in their care package to help fuel them during this very busy time in the semester. We hope the care cards and packages will be a tangible reminder to them of God’s love and our care and support!
Thank you to all our Sunday School and Confirmation students who wrote notes, and to all our amazing leaders who helped out. Your kindness and generosity make this act of service possible, and it makes a very important and positive impact in the lives of our college students.
Grace and Peace,
Joe
