Dear Peace Lutheran Church Family and Friends,
Over the past thirteen months we have traveled the “interim road” together, completing surveys, holding listening sessions, filling out paperwork, and discerning the mission of this congregation in anticipation of calling your next pastor. Now that this transition is complete, my time with you is coming to an end.
Of course, this is not the first transition that has taken place at Peace Lutheran Church. Many pastors have come and gone since this congregation first began meeting for worship in the Holiday Inn almost fifty years ago:

On this coming Sunday morning, we’ll gather as we always do – to pray, to sing, and to share in God’s Holy Meal. Afterwards we’ll gather in the Parish Hall for a celebration of our ministry together over the past year and we’ll say farewell to each other, paving the way for Pastor Anne Schaefer to arrive and carry on the ministry that has been happening here since 1978.
Many thanks to you all for your partnership over the past year. I’m looking forward to seeing you Sunday for worship followed by celebratory root beer floats!
God’s Peace,
Pastor Jeff Engholm
