CYF Blast February 22, 2024

Dear Families and Friends of Peace,

There are three brief notes that I have for you all today.

First, thank you to all of you who came for dinner and/or worship last night for our first Lenten Midweek service. It was wonderful to share in meal and fellowship, and I’m continually awed how Holden Evening Prayer centers us in this Lenten season.

Second, this weekend our Confirmation students will be traveling down to Gustavus for our winter retreat. While there, we will engage in this year’s theme of “God’s Story, My Story” and embrace the fact that, “I’m part of God’s Story.” We’ll also enjoy meals together, go on a campus tour, and have a ton of fun. Please pray for us, that God would use this experience to form us in faith.

Lastly, on Sunday our plans for this month’s intergenerational event, planned by the CYF Committee, have changed. Due to the warm weather, there is not enough snow for sledding or ice for skating. Instead, Sunday’s event will be bowling at Pinstripes in Edina from 1-2pm.

Please contact me to register, or sign up using the methods below! Since we’ve made reservations, we kindly ask you to do this as soon as possible so that we don’t need to make any last-minute adjustments. Thanks in advance!

Grace and Peace,

Joe
