The Women’s Faith & Finance Group continues to meet regularly to learn about our ever-changing financial world and to work to promote financial literacy and stability for other women by providing scholarships for local youth to attend Best Prep Academy summer camp, providing KIVA micro-loans to women in underdeveloped nations, and through supporting the Stocking Project. To provide funds for these projects we are doing two fundraisers this year—holiday pots and Christmas gift wrapping!
The first fundraiser will be “Build Your Own Outdoor Holiday Pots” at Terra Garden Center (20230 Kenrick Ave., #9303, Lakeville). For a $20 fee, Terra Gardens will provide a heated workspace, soil, tools, preservative and have staff available to assist you. An amazing selection of evergreens and embellishments will be available for purchase to create your beautiful holiday decor! Holiday refreshments will be served and there will be a free-will offering if you wish to support our fundraising effort. Bring your empty pots and bring your friends (you can even share supplies!) and join us for a fun and festive day of creativity and holiday cheer!!!
